Neighborhood Assembly of God
Church, we are here to Share our Lord, Our Love, and Our Lives. We in the
children’s area seek to instill this vision statement into every child from
birth to 5th grade.
Nursery
begins at birth-12 months: Parents with infants can find warm and caring
individuals to minister to their child. Recently this area was remodeled with
new flooring and other improvements will take place in the near future.
Toddlers
are infants who are walking to 2 years: Toddlers are encouraged by staff members
to discover Christ through the use of their senses; hearing, seeing, touching,
smelling, and tasting.
Preschool Sunday School and Preschool Kid’s Church: Are for Kid’s from age 3-K:
With the continued growth and development of these young children physically and
emotionally many will make a commitment to serve Jesus at this age. Bible
stories become exciting as they learn with the use of puppets, object lesions,
and flannel graphs.
Sunday
School is from grade 1-6: In these classes every person is given an opportunity
to experience the Lord to the fullest. The learning doesn’t stop at the door but
continues where each lives, at school, and are able to share Jesus with their
neighbors.
Sunday
Kid’s Church 1st-5th grade: A plan is in the works to
remodel this area. Our new name is “JAM”(Jesus and Me). The goal is to teach
that serving Jesus is exciting and fun not boring. Children are taught to
worship, serve, and commit themselves and their lives to the Lord.
This
growth and maturing in the Lord doesn’t stop at 5th grade.
Neighborhood continues with Christian Education classes from middle school to
adult.
The
youth: Middle School to High school is given practical applications from the
Word of God, in sharing Our Lord, Our love, and Our lives to their peers. The
youth plan activities in which they are given an opportunity to share Jesus in
their community.
For the
Adults one can be an active participant in the Adult Sunday School class,
Worship Team, Ladies Bible Study, or Japanese Adult class. Each class will
encourage and challenge one to have a more intimate relationship with Jesus. We
are excited and anxious for every person not only to grow but mature in their
Christian walk.
