 Clay and Marlene come the Neighborhood with over 40 years of experience as
seasoned leaders, speakers and pastors.
They have
5 married children and 16 grandchildren. They have lots of fun. They come with
allot of experience of working with God's kids in their relationship with God,
themselves, their spouse, their children and the 'community'. They come to
support the work and ministry of Pastor Wes and Carol in seeing not only the
truth of God, but the brilliance of God's Word that is applicable for life.
Clay served as the Assistant District Superintendent of the New York District
Assemblies of God for eight years. He has also served as the CEO and
President of Emerge Ministries, a large Christian Mental Health Center in Akron,
Ohio.
Marlene is also an ordained minister and licensed psychotherapist with more than
20 years experience in counseling. She has served as a therapist at Emerge
Ministries. Her passion is to minister the love of God to hurting people,
with a compassion born both of experience and training.
Clay and
Marlene have a passion to minister to couples and families and have spoken at
many couples retreats in the United States and overseas including Japan, Europe
and Africa.
